Each month features a different topic related to the ocean theme, but every edition includes:

A collectible postcard featuring an original artwork inspired by the month's theme. It will be a watercolor painting of a dive site I want to introduce, a sea mammal - anything!

Mail it to a friend, display it on your desk, tuck it into your journal, or frame it as a keepsake.

✦ One Legal-Size Letter

A letter or article exploring the month's underwater destination, marine creature, or ocean story, filled with interesting facts and stories.

✦ One Interactive Craft

A paper good to make, use, or collect. Think sticker sheets, mini calendars, journaling inserts, bookmarks, paper crafts, and other creative extras inspired by the ocean.

Every mail pack is designed to help you discover a different corner of the underwater world while giving you something beautiful to keep, create with, and revisit.

Why did we start The Blue Post?

When we first started Saint Sable Journal, we hoped the journey wouldn't end when your journal arrived.

Like many people, I love journaling—but I also procrastinate A LOT. Sometimes I don't know what to write. Sometimes I don't have inspiring materials to work with. I realised that what I really looked forward to wasn't buying another notebook insert—it was receiving something that sparked creativity.

That's how The Blue Post came to life.

Every month, I will curate a small mail pack that I would genuinely be excited to receive myself—something that encourages you to slow down, scrapbook, write, reflect, and collect.

To make each edition even more meaningful, you'll also find journal prompts woven into the letters and postcards, so every delivery becomes an invitation to put pen to paper.

Why the ocean? To me, the ocean felt like the perfect theme.

I've always loved diving. When I was younger, my dream was to become a marine biologist. Every dive reminds me how vast, beautiful, and often overlooked the underwater world is. Through The Blue Post, I hope to share a little of that wonder with you—one dive site, one marine creature, and one story at a time.

Why is your $9 worth it?

I wanted this to be a subscription you could enjoy without feeling like you're accumulating clutter.

Everything inside is designed to be used, repurposed, or collected. The postcard can become a journal spread or a framed print. The letter can be annotated, saved, or revisited. The interactive craft is made to encourage creativity rather than sit in a drawer.
